This collection contains the records of Carleton Fisher and Dana Klotzle, who were the two executive directors of the Universalist Service Committee. The collection includes correspondence, reports, financial records, Executive Committee meeting minutes; and membership records relating to the activities and missions of the Service Committee. Topics include programs for displaced children in Hungary and Germany, the status of European displaced persons and refugees of World War Two, the Jordan Neighborhood House; and Service Committee post-war work camps in Japan.

The Unitarian Service Committee (USC) was formed as a standing committee of the American Unitarian Association in May 1940. Its purpose was to investigate opportunities in America and abroad for humanitarian service.
